Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated seeks a seasoned project leader to direct heavy civil construction programs up to $15 million. You will forecast revenue and costs, align budgets with estimators, and drive bid accuracy and startup planning with key sponsors and managers.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in paving, dirt, and grading, plus strong leadership and organizational skills to deliver safe, profitable outcomes across complex projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent work experience in heavy civil construction.
• 3–5 years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in paving, dirt, and grading in either private or public environments.

Responsibilities

• Forecast project revenue and costs to meet profitability goals.
• Coordinate with estimators and controls to establish budget.
• Lead estimating efforts on vertically integrated projects.
• Manage resources to meet project schedule.
• Participate in bid reviews to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Develop startup plans with sponsors and project teams.
• Ensure safe, profitable, and productive project execution.
• Maintain accurate construction reports for performance.
• Run projects at or above target margins.
