Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Civil Construction Manager to own pre-sale and post-sale civil construction for regional projects. You will manage end-to-end site development, collaborate with System Engineering, Project Managers, and subcontractors, and drive alignment, risk mitigation, and vendor coordination from bid through final acceptance.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, constructability leadership, safety compliance (R56), and weekly progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check as required for this position.
• Experience with process improvement and inventory control.
• Motorola Video Security product knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to travel as required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preconstruction activities including site walks, constructability reviews and feasibility consultations.
• Coordinate with A&E, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop Construction Execution Plans.
• Monitor regulatory gating hurdles and maintain risk-tracking for schedule risks.
• Lead site mobilization, utility coordination, and construction scheduling.
• Ensure on-site safety, quality standards, and adherence to R56 grounding requirements.
• Prepare weekly progress updates and manage cost/schedule fluctuations.
• Assist with closeout, punch lists, and final hand-off to customers.
