Motorola Solutions seeks a Civil Construction Manager to lead pre-sale and post-sale civil construction for regional projects, collaborating with System Engineering, Project Managers, and a network of subcontractors to ensure site readiness and constructability.

The role emphasizes strategic alignment, risk mitigation, and coordinating with A&E firms to drive efficient site execution and safety compliance. Travel is required; salary ranges reflect market norms for the role.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of Construction/Project Management experience.
• OSHA certification is required for this position.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; employer sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction: site appraisals, strategy, and constructability assessment.
• Design & feasibility review of site drawings and specs.
• Regulatory tracking across zoning, SHPO, NEPA, Permits, for schedule risk mitigation.
• Subcontractor pre-qualification and bid walk coordination; early groundwork planning.
• Develop Construction Execution Plans and conduct multi-disciplinary reviews.
• A&E collaboration to finalize site plans and specs.
• On-site subcontractor coordination with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor progress vs. budget; provide weekly updates.
• Coordinate site acceptance, tests, and utility turn-ups.
• Closeout: punch-list resolution and hand-off packages to customer.
