Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a Civil Construction Manager to own the end-to-end civil construction for regional projects, coordinating with System Engineering, Project Managers, and subcontractors to optimize site development and execution.

This role emphasizes strategic alignment, risk mitigation, constructability reviews, and close collaboration with A&E partners to deliver on-time, on-budget site completions while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Construction/Project Management experience.
• OSHA Certification required for this position.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.

Responsibilities

• Site appraisals and strategy: conduct site walks and constructability appraisals.
• Review site drawings and specs to advise on construction feasibility and material availability.
• Monitor regulatory gating hurdles and track with a system to manage risks.
• Coordinate subcontractor bid walks, evaluate qualifications, and support final negotiations.
• Develop Construction Execution Plans and lead multi-disciplinary reviews.
• Direct and coordinate on-site subcontractor work ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against budget and provide weekly updates.
• Coordinate testing, final site inspections, and final hand-off to the customer.
