Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to design, configure, test, and sustain EACN Cisco VoIP capabilities at Scott AFB and related sites. The role requires DoD security clearances and advanced expertise in CUCM, Cisco Unity, and SIP networks.

Responsibilities include engineering Tier III support, patching and hardening, and coordinating with government personnel. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 with comprehensive benefits; travel to sites may be involved.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (minimum).
• US Citizenship required.
• DoD 8140 qualifications and roles may be met by education, training, or certifications.
• Masters or PhD in CS, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or IT-related field.
• DoD 8140 certifications such as SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier III engineering, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of the EACN Cisco VoIP environment.
• Configure, patch, STIG, and enhance Cisco UC components and teleconference bridges.
• Develop and maintain configurations for CUCM, Unity, SBCs, and SIP-enabled devices.
• Engineer SIP connections between EACN and external voice networks, including Asterisk and Call Manager Express.
• Perform Tier III network engineering tasks, baseline management, and change implementation.
• Validate new hardware, software, patches, and configuration changes in the SIL before deployment.
• Provide senior technical guidance and troubleshooting leadership to Government engineers and site personnel.
