Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. seeks a Lead Voice Engineer at Scott AFB, Illinois to provide Tier III engineering leadership for the EACN VoIP environment. You will design, configure, test, and sustain enterprise voice capabilities across sites and the SIL lab.

The role requires advanced CUCM/Unity experience, strong communication skills, and DoD security clearance. You will mentor teams, coordinate with government engineers, and implement secure voice solutions in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required; US citizenship.
• DoD 8140 qualifications for 451 System Administrator; advanced proficiency; may be met by education, military training, certifications.
• Qualifying credentials include a Masters or PhD or relevant military training/certifications.
• 5+ years of enterprise voice engineering experience with Cisco UC environments.
• Current Cisco Voice certification with CUCM concentration, or ability to obtain within six months.
• DoD-approved IA baseline certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Experience with CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SBCs, SIP, SRST, voice security hardening, and triage.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier III engineering, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of the EACN Cisco VoIP environment.
• Configure, patch, STIG, enhance, and add features to CUCM, Unity, IM&P, and teleconference bridges.
• Develop and maintain configurations for CUCM, Unity, SBCs, and SIP-enabled devices.
• Engineer SIP connections between EACN and external voice systems.
• Perform Tier III network engineering, baseline management, documentation, testing, and change implementation.
• Validate new hardware, software, patches in SIL before deployment.
• Provide senior technical guidance and coordination with government engineers and site personnel.
