Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Identity Specialist to join the Global Presales team in the USA. You will educate customers on best practices for implementing Okta CIAM, lead strategic technical conversations, and deliver tailored product demonstrations and POCs.

This remote role requires travel up to 40% for customer meetings and events. You will collaborate with engineering, sales, and field CTO offices to ensure customer success, drive market insights, and shape solution messaging for regional GTM

Qualifications

8+ years in a presales or customer-facing role.
8+ years development experience, preferably with identity services.
8+ years of experience with REST APIs and SDKs.
Experience with customer identity and access management solutions (Okta/Auth0).
Experience with authentication or authorization protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML).
Ability to communicate complex ideas with whiteboarding and demos.
Proven ability to solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions.
Strong presentation skills and experience contributing to technical events.

Responsibilities

Support strategic customer conversations with technical and engineering stakeholders.
Deliver on emerging trends and identity-driven digital transformation.
Lead Q&A discovery sessions to uncover requirements and demonstrate Okta CIAM value.
Deliver interactive presentations and tailored product demonstrations across technical and business audiences.
Whiteboard solution architecture and design, and execute outcome-focused POCs.
Collaborate with sales and enablement teams to drive regional GTM initiatives.
