Job summary

Cencora is seeking a senior CIAM Platform Engineer III to design, implement, and optimize customer identity solutions that securely serve customers, patients, partners, and external users. You will lead platform engineering, authentication services, API integrations, automation, and security improvements across CIAM initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CIAM/IAM, software or platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on with CIAM platforms like Auth0, Okta CI, ForgeRock, Ping Identity or similar.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT and federation.
• Experience integrating identity with apps via APIs, SDKs and cloud services.
• Automation skills with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles and IAM lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support CIAM platforms for secure, scalable auth services.
• Lead customer identity initiatives across registration, profile, consent, SSO, MFA and federation.
• Develop integrations between CIAM and customer-facing apps using modern identity standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote CIAM best practices and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with security and privacy teams on Zero Trust and compliance.
