Job summary

Cencora is seeking an experienced CIAM Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure customer identity solutions across digital products. You will work with engineering and security teams to deploy robust authentication and authorization capabilities, including SSO, MFA, federation, and social login, while improving onboarding and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities include configuring CIAM platforms, integrating with enterprise identity services, and monitoring security events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM/CIAM).
• Experience with CIAM solutions such as Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or Microsoft Entra External ID.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience troubleshooting authentication and access issues in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Scripting with JavaScript.
• Understanding of Zero Trust, identity governance, and customer data protection.

Responsibilities

• Configures and maintains enterprise CIAM platforms for secure authentication/authorization.
• Supports registration, account recovery, and profile management across digital channels.
• Implements SSO, MFA, adaptive, and passwordless authentication.
• Develops API integrations and identity workflows for secure connectivity.
• Analyzes logs and identity telemetry to troubleshoot access issues.
• Creates documentation and runbooks for CIAM services.
• Collaborates with product, security, and architecture teams to optimize CIAM solutions.
• Participates in platform upgrades, patches, and release validation.
