Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an automation engineer to join the Engineering Systems team. You will manage code signing across platforms, oversee certificate lifecycles, and design automation for encryption and signing frameworks.

You’ll work with Jenkins pipelines, Groovy scripts, and CI/CD tooling while supporting build, packaging, and deployment. Remote-friendly role requiring collaboration across time zones, strong scripting in Python, and a security-minded approach to devops and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps/build engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Deep knowledge of encryption/PKI concepts as they relate to code signing.
• Experience with Jenkins pipeline development (Groovy) and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Manage code signing for binaries, packages, and artifacts across Windows, Linux, and Mac.
• Manage certificate lifecycles: issuance, renewal, revocation, storage.
• Design, implement, and maintain encryption, certificate, and code signing frameworks.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve operations of existing systems.
• Drive end-to-end improvements from design to delivered product for internal customers.
• Produce clear, maintainable code with minimal oversight.
• Provide documentation for tool users.
• Perform code reviews.
• On-call build engineer responsibilities including plan/pipeline changes and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot build, packaging, deployment failures.
• Work as part of a remote on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams.
