Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an automation engineer to join the Engineering Systems team. You will own code signing, certificate management, and encryption frameworks across multiple platforms and cloud environments, building scalable automation tooling to improve CI/CD pipelines.

You will work remotely as part of a global team, troubleshooting build and deployment issues, and collaborating with product and development teams to improve release processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as software engineer or DevOps/build engineer.
• Strong Python scripting and automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage code signing for binaries across Windows/Linux/macOS platforms.
• Manage certificate lifecycles including issuance, renewal, revocation, storage.
• Design and maintain encryption, certificate, and code signing frameworks.
• Improve operation of build systems and pipelines.
• Deliver end-to-end improvements from design to product delivery.
• Produce maintainable code with minimal oversight.
• Create user documentation for tools created.
• Perform code reviews and participate in on-call rotations.
• Troubleshoot build, packaging, and deployment failures.
• Collaborate with global teams to support build/release processes.
