Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Development Engineer for Transmission, Driveline & Gear Reducer to analyze, develop, and validate driveline systems and their integration into Stellantis vehicles. You will work with calibration teams and partners to ensure hardware and controls meet vehicle mission profiles and brand character.

The role involves creating development and validation plans, executing tests in vehicle and drive simulations, and supporting cross-functional teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in transmission/driveline hardware or controls.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; proficient with MS Office.
• Self-directed, able to manage multiple complex projects and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and validate transmission and driveline systems and subsystems.
• Lead development and validation plans and run performance tests in vehicle and simulation environments.
• Collaborate with calibration, engineering, and release teams across regions.
• Support travel for development road trips and benchmarking as needed.
