Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to lead specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create custom splints, and develop recovery plans within a collaborative team of hand surgeons and therapists.

The role requires 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, an active PT or OT license, CHT credential, CPR/BLS, and a bachelor’s degree; a DPT/OT Doctorate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT Doctorate preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to age and disability.
• Document Delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of assistants, students and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit and adjust orthoses and splints; educate on care.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative cases.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists; participate in care planning.
