Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, develop recovery plans, and lead orthotic fabrication and post-surgical rehab in a collaborative team.

Requirements include 3+ years in upper-extremity rehab, current PT or OT license, and CHT credential; DPT/OTD preferred. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities available in the Overbrook area.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Directs and supervises activities of OT staff and students.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon and postoperative conditions.
• Provide scar management, edema control, and return-to-work rehab as appropriate.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons, physicians, therapists; participate in care planning.
