Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include evaluation, custom splinting, orthotic fabrication, and developing individualized care plans with interdisciplinary collaboration.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree; PT/OT degree preferred; 3+ years upper-extremity rehab; active PT/OT license; CPR/BLS; CHT preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation and outpatient therapy experience.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments and establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and disability.
• Document delivery of OT services.
• Directs and supervises activities of Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and support personnel.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom orthoses and splints for hand and upper-extremity conditions.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Treat orthopedic, traumatic, burn, tendon, nerve, and postoperative conditions.
• Collaboration with hand surgeons, orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
