Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced inspection services for transportation infrastructure in the Cartersville, GA area. You will lead inspection teams, conduct complex roadway and bridge inspections, and support contract administration and project documentation.

The role requires significant field experience, GDOT certifications, and the ability to coordinate with municipalities and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of transportation technician experience.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience leading inspectors and coordinating inspection teams.
• Certifications listed below or achievable in required time frames.
• Ability to prepare, review and maintain inspection reports and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level inspection on roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Conduct materials sampling and testing to verify requirements.
• Lead Project Inspector; supervise lower-level inspectors.
• Monitor workmanship and materials for compliance with plans and specs.
• Assist contract administration with field measurements and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and reviews; support LAP/local let projects.
• Review invoices for accuracy and coordinate project funding usage.
