Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to perform advanced construction engineering inspection on transportation projects in the Cartersville, GA area. You will lead inspections, supervise others, and support contract administration and project documentation.

May perform project engineering duties as assigned. Requirements include high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience, lead-inspector background, and relevant GDOT certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years transportation technician experience.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel.
• Obtain GDOT certifications and pass required qualification tests.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain construction plans, specs, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level CEI work supporting roadway and bridge construction.
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for compliance.
• Lead project inspector; perform complex inspections and supervise others.
• Coordinate and supervise lower-level inspectors and contract administration tasks.
• Attend project meetings and reviews; support project close-out activities.
