Accura Engineering seeks a Senior CEI Inspector to lead inspection on transportation projects in the Cartersville, GA area. The role includes supervising inspectors, performing complex inspections, and supporting contract administration and documentation.

Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED with four years of experience, possess GDOT certifications, and have strong reading/comprehension of plans. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with four years of transportation technician experience.
• GDOT certifications required and passed tests as applicable.
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain construction plans and specs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction inspection for roadway and bridge work.
• Supervise lower-level inspectors and ensure field accuracy.
• Conduct materials sampling, testing, and documentation.
• Monitor workmanship and material compliance with plans and specs.
• Participate in project meetings and close-out activities.
