Job summary

Accura Engineering in Cartersville, GA is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector to lead advanced highway and bridge inspections, supervise staff, and support project administration. The role involves field testing, interpreting plans, and ensuring compliance with specifications and LAP requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years progressive transportation technician experience
• Experience inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects
• Experience serving as a lead inspector and coordinating inspection personnel
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle in Georgia

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced-level construction engineering inspection work on roadway and bridge projects
• Conduct materials sampling, inspection, and testing for compliance
• Lead project inspections and supervise lower-level inspectors
• Monitor construction processes to ensure compliance with plans and contract requirements
• Perform contract administration duties including field measurements and documentation
• Participate in project meetings and documentation activities
• Assist with administration and management of locally administered projects
• Review invoiced work for accuracy and compliance
• Ensure LAP requirements are followed and funds are appropriately utilized
• Support project closeout activities and documentation
