Job summary

Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc is seeking a CEI Inspector to provide construction engineering and inspection services for roadway and bridge projects. This position ensures compliance with contract plans and specifications while conducting inspections, maintaining project documentation, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should have experience in construction inspection, GDOT certifications, and a high school diploma. Competitive salary and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months to 3 years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to pass GDOT’s Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction.
• Inspect materials and quality of construction.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records.

Skills

Reading and interpreting construction plans

Knowledge of highway construction materials

Mathematical calculations including geometry and trigonometry

Education

High School Diploma or GED
