Volkert Inc. is seeking experienced CEI Inspectors (senior and entry level) for the Southeast Region in Atlanta, GA.

The role involves supporting Project Engineers by inspecting roadway and bridge construction, testing materials, and ensuring compliance with plans and specs. Responsibilities include field measurements, reporting, and coordinating with the Project Administrator to ensure quality and progress.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of construction inspection experience, including one year in bridge/roadway work.
• Engineer Intern with a Civil Engineering degree is required.
• Knowledge of GDOT specifications and standard practices for highway construction.
• Ability to read and comprehend roadway construction plans.
• Must obtain GDOT F/CON, GDOT WECS, GSWCC Level 1A, and Advanced Traffic Control certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Make and check construction related computations.
• Inspect construction work and monitor on-site activity.
• Conduct field tests, sample materials, verify work meets plans and specs.
• Write daily inspection reports and document test results.
• Assist in record keeping and field measurements as needed.
• Work under supervision of the Project Administrator.
