The Valley Health System in Nevada seeks a Regional CDI Manager to oversee the Clinical Documentation Integrity program for GME and medical staff education. You will perform concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient records to ensure accurate reflection of severity of illness and risk of mortality, supporting compliant reimbursement and reporting quality of care.

Ideal candidates hold nursing degrees (RN) with 2+ years CDI experience, strong knowledge of Medicare PPS and DRG systems, and

• RN with relevant CDI experience and knowledge of PPS and DRG systems.
• Strong ability to review inpatient records for accuracy of illness severity.
• Proficient with electronic health records and coding software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day workflow of the Clinical Documentation Integrity program.
• Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient records.
• Facilitate accurate physician documentation to reflect care and reimburse appropriately.
