The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada seeks a Regional CDI Manager to oversee the Clinical Documentation Integrity Program for GME and medical staff education, ensuring accurate reflection of patient severity and compliant reimbursement for acute care services.

The role requires nursing credentials (RN) with clinical experience in acute care, knowledge of PPS/DRG, and CDI software proficiency, with opportunities for professional growth within VHS and UHS subsidiaries.

Formación

• Nursing degree required; RN license in state of residence.
• Acute care clinical experience (2+ years) and 1+ year in clinical documentation integrity.
• Knowledge of PPS and DRG selection, assignment and optimization.
• Management experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day workflow of the CDI program.
• Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient records.
• Ensure documentation reflects severity of illness and risk of mortality.
• Support reporting on quality outcomes and compliant reimbursement.
