The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) professional to oversee the CDI program for GME and medical staff education. Under supervision of the Regional Manager, you will manage day-to-day workflow and perform concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient records to ensure accurate documentation and compliant reimbursement.

You should have an associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred) or a graduate of a domestic/international

Qualificações

• Must have RN license in state of residence.
• 2+ years acute care nursing experience; CDI experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Prospective Payment System and DRG assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day workflow of the CDI program for GME and medical staff education.
• Provide clinically based concurrent and retrospective review of inpatient records.
• Evaluate utilization and documentation to reflect severity of illness and risk of mortality.
• Align reviews with internal and external payer/regulatory requirements.
