We are currently looking to add a Senior Catering Sales Manager to our team. As Senior Catering Manager, you will develop market segments by soliciting new customer relationships, negotiating business through proposals and contracts, and closing deals.

What will I be doing?

• Develop market segments, including soliciting new customer relationships and negotiating contracts to close business.
• Design menus and events creatively to maximize revenue and enhance the event experience.
• Maintain relationships with corporate and social accounts.
• Foster internal customer relationships to ensure high-level service throughout all event phases.
• Handle complex social events, directing logistics and coordinating with responsible departments and team members.
• Serve as the primary contact, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
• Support and act on behalf of the Director of Catering and Events when needed.

Essential functions include:

1. Organizing, planning, and prioritizing duties with clear goals.
2. Building and maintaining client relationships, setting, and meeting expectations.
3. Resolving conflicts, negotiating, and handling complaints effectively.
4. Making decisions by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions.
5. Ensuring high-quality service through communication, guidance, and coaching.
6. Participating in customer site inspections and supporting the sales process.
7. Maintaining timely communication with clients via various channels.
8. Maintaining regular attendance.

What are we looking for?

• 2-3 years of experience in catering sales, specifically in local social catering and weddings.
• Experience supervising or managing at least one person.
• Experience selling events with 200-400 attendees.
