• 7-9 years prior claims handling experience.
• Advanced knowledge of claims administration best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct phone and field investigations to determine liability and damages.
• May attend and participate in legal proceedings.
• Identify and obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Communicate with insureds and claimants.
• Explain benefits and coverages in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate within settlement authority to resolve claims.
• Update claim files in company systems (CACS, HUON, HOC, GUIDEWIRE).
• Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.
