Job summary

Jericho Project, a nationally recognized nonprofit in New York, seeks a Senior Case Manager to deliver rapid rehousing services to high-risk veterans, young adults, and families. The role handles a caseload of approximately 10–12 participants with frequent client contact via meetings, calls, and surveys.

The Senior Case Manager will supervise the case management team, review documentation, onboard new staff, and lead special projects under the direction of the Assistant Director and Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or similar field is required or preferred.
• Experience in homelessness, substance abuse, mental health and/or trauma settings is desirable.
• Experience with veterans, young adults, or LGBTQ populations is preferred.
• Knowledge of NYC resources is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, writing, communication, and computer skills are essential.
• The role involves fast-paced case management and some field work.
• Excellent engagement and interpersonal abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid rehousing and case management to high-risk participants.
• Conduct intake assessments and manage documentation in the electronic system.
• Liaise with housing and mental health professionals to support housing stability.
• Develop and facilitate workshops and support groups.
• Assist with onboarding new staff and special projects as needed.
• Coordinate with Workforce Opportunities to link participants to employment/education.
