Job summary

Jericho Project seeks a Rapid Resolution Coordinator to support low-income veteran families experiencing homelessness in Manhattan.

The role uses Critical Time Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction to provide comprehensive case management and supervises junior staff. Responsibilities include assessments, housing stability planning, crisis intervention, and community coordination to rapidly resolve cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services required; 0–6 months of experience in a related field.
• Preferred experience with homelessness, substance abuse, mental health, and/or trauma settings.
• Prior experience working with veterans or military populations is strongly preferred.
• Superior organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work effectively with high-need veterans.
• Familiarity with HUDVASH and supportive housing initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance to Sr. Case Manager, ensuring program objectives are met.
• Oversee intake and orientation of new program participants and conduct thorough assessments.
• Facilitate case reviews, provide actionable recommendations, and monitor caseloads.
• Train, mentor, and coach case management staff to build professional skills.
• Participate in line-staff recruitment and community outreach.
• Submit reports and updates on caseloads and program progress to leadership.
