Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Case Manager to support attorneys with complex matters, drafting documents, summarizing information, and coordinating with clients, outside counsel and vendors. This hybrid role acts as a hub for cases, supervising staff and mentoring associates and paralegals.

The position requires 10+ years as a paralegal, a Bachelor’s in paralegal studies or related field, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive efficiency across matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience as a Paralegal in a specific practice group.
• Hands-on experience managing cases, budgets, and client communications.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of cases to design tracking systems and ensure proper workflow.
• Streamlines tasks and creates efficiencies across case teams.
• Manages budgets and resources for cases and client relationships.
• Supervises case assistants, paralegals, and attorneys; mentors staff.
• Interacts with clients; coordinates with outside counsel and vendors.
• Develops trainings and acts as SME for practice groups.
