Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Case Manager to support attorneys by managing a range of cases and coordinating between clients, attorneys, and vendors. You will prepare drafts, analyze information, and supervise case assistants, paralegals, and staff to ensure high-quality work within budgets.

This role requires extensive knowledge of product liability, mass torts, and class actions, with 10+ years as a paralegal and a bachelor’s degree. Hybrid work and collaboration across offices are expected.

Qualifications

• Four plus years' experience supporting attorneys in complex matters.
• Experience coordinating clients, co-counsel, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Experience setting up and running technical systems to manage cases/matters.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of cases to design tracking systems.
• Streamlines tasks to create efficiencies and manage budgets.
• Supervises case assistants, paralegals, and attorneys; acts as hub for cases.
• Interacts with clients as a primary point of contact.
• Mentors associates and paralegals; conducts trainings.
• Participates in all aspects of case management for complex matters.
