This role acts as a central coordinator among attorneys, clients, and external parties, combining litigation support with leadership and budget oversight.

The ideal candidate has extensive paralegal experience in product liability, mass tort, and class action matters, with a track record of leading teams and handling high-volume cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field
• 10+ years of paralegal experience in a relevant practice group
• Experience acting as a lead paralegal or managing complex cases strongly preferred
• California-based paralegals must meet applicable California Paralegal requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cases and track all activity
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, outside counsel, and vendors
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, and summaries
• Support product liability, mass tort, and class actions
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations
• Apply federal, state, and local filing rules and procedures
• Lead paralegal and coordinate teams across cases
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resources
• Oversee electronic case-management tools and systems
• Develop checklists and processes to improve efficiency
• Mentor associates and paralegals and train legal teams
• Interact with clients as a key point of contact
