Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a Cargo Claim Prevention Manager to implement methods and standards for reducing cargo loss and damage in the assigned region, supporting OS&D mitigation, and improving efficiency and service quality.

The role involves leading claim prevention activities, training service center personnel on loading and freight handling, and collaborating with management to identify root causes and prevent nonconformance across the network.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Transportation, Logistics or related field.
• Experience in operations management and supervision.
• Preferably OS&D and/or claims prevention in transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support regional claim prevention activities and OS&D compliance.
• Assist service centers with loading, freight handling, and bill control to reduce claims.
• Train and support personnel on OS&D procedures and corrective actions.
• Identify trends in OS&D to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Interact with shippers/consignees to minimize claims and drive root-cause analysis.
