AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Cargo Claim Prevention Manager in the Phoenix area to lead OS&D prevention and improve service center efficiencies.

You will work with executives and managers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to minimize claims. Ideal candidates have a degree in Transportation or related field, proven supervisory experience, and familiarity with cargo liability.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Transportation, Logistics or related area.
• Operations management/supervisory experience.
• Preferably OS&D and/or claims prevention in transportation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and OS&D programs.
• Familiarity with cargo claims liability.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Extensive travel required as needed and/or directed.

Responsabilités

• Support OS&D and operations personnel to prevent cargo loss and claims.
• Train and support service center personnel on loading and freight handling.
• Guide on bill control to reduce exposure to lost freight claims and improve service.
• Identify trends in OS&D activities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Interact with shippers and consignees to reduce or eliminate claims.
• Work with management to identify root causes of OS&D and develop elimination plans.
• Investigate high value, technical, and complicated claims with management.
