Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Service Center Leadership professional to oversee OS&D and claims prevention across the assigned region.

You will support service centers, guide loading and freight handling, and help reduce claims while improving efficiency. The role requires an associate degree or higher in transportation or logistics, supervisory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Transportation, Logistics, or related field.
• Operations management or supervisory experience.
• Prefer OS&D and/or claims prevention experience in transportation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and OS&D software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support OS&D and operations personnel in handling shortages and damages.
• Ensure compliance with OS&D, claims, and prevention policies.
• Train and support service center personnel on loading and freight handling.
• Train and support bill control functions to reduce lost freight claims and improve tracking.
• Assist in disposition of over, astray, refused, salvage freight.
• Identify deficiencies in dock, P&D, and admin operations contributing to OS&D delays.
• Identify trends in OS&D activities to reduce costs.
• Interact with shippers and consignees to reduce claims.
• Work with executives to identify root causes and plans to eliminate nonconformance.
• Investigate, minimize, and resolve high-value claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
