Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Personal Care Assistant in Carson, CA, to support participants with daily living activities and participate in care planning as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will assist with ADLs, escort participants, document vital signs, and help with meals and safety on the day center floor.

The role requires a high school diploma (HHA or CNA in CA preferred) and at least one year of senior care experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HHA or CNA certification in California is preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience providing personal care to seniors.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs.
• Act as a medical escort when needed for transportation.
• Oversee activity on the day center floor to ensure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Maintain and restock personal care supplies.
