Job summary

WelbeHealth is hiring Home Care Assistants to support seniors at home in Carson, California. You will deliver safe personal care, help with daily living activities, and support the care plan within the interdisciplinary team.

The role involves visiting multiple participants daily and coordinating with medical staff. We offer a comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus, medical insurance, PTO and holidays, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/First Aid certification required.
• CNA or HHA certification preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Must be registered with Home Care Registry prior to start date.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with ADLs in participants' homes.
• Assist with Instrumental ADLs such as laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, and meal prep.
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed.
• Serve as medical escort on vehicles to appointments and assist with transfers.
• Support Rehab team by carrying out home exercise programs as per care plan.
• Provide translation services as needed.
