Job summary

WelbeHealth, LLC. is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support participants at our day center, delivering hands-on ADL assistance, vital signs, and safe transportation. You will collaborate with the IDT to contribute to care planning and ensure participant safety and satisfaction.

The role offers a base salary plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a strong commitment to team wellbeing. Applicants must meet CA certifications and drive within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HHA or CNA certification preferred in California.
• Minimum of one year of experience delivering personal care to seniors.
• Must be able to drive to participant locations within the service area.
• CA Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care to WelbeHealth participants, including ADLs (toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, lifting).
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed.
• Act as a medical escort when needed, assisting participants with WelbeHealth transportation.
• Oversee activity on the day center floor to ensure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence supplies and grooming items.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

HHA or CNA certification (CA)

Valid driver's license / ability to drive
