Job summary

Senior Helpers, based in Mifflinburg, PA, seeks a full-time Scheduling Coordinator to join our in-home senior care team. The role focuses on selecting and coordinating caregivers per care plans, maintaining weekly office hours, and ensuring smooth operations with strong client communication.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in staffing or customer service, experience with healthcare staffing, and excellent multitasking abilities. On-call evenings are required.

Qualifications

• One year minimum in staffing/recruiting or similar.
• Professional experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of healthcare staffing requirements.
• Strong communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Proven problem-solving abilities for scheduling conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information.
• Maintain scheduling 8am–4pm, Mon–Fri.
• Track and record assignments, call-outs, and changes in Matrix Care.
• Communicate staffing needs to Care Manager as client load/location changes.
• On-call rotating evenings; ensure schedule is complete for next business day/weekend.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Care Manager.
