Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Prefer minimum 1-year staffing/scheduling experience in home care or similar industries.
• Prefer non-medical in-home care/home health experience.
• Working knowledge of ClearCare or similar scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all current and prospective home care cases.
• Resolves staffing issues due to schedule changes.
• Maintains detailed scheduling logs and calendars.
• Keeps records of absences for agency staff.
• Notifies management of staffing problems promptly.
• Maintains currency and accuracy of scheduling calendars.
• May interview and hire caregivers and maintain their files.
• May be on-call outside regular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Documents on-call occurrences and communicates changes to scheduling team.
• Verifies time cards with schedules for payroll and billing.
• Processes clock-ins and clock-outs for payroll.
• Maintains confidentiality of client, employee, and agency information.
