Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to manage caregiver scheduling and placement based on care plans. You will coordinate schedules, maintain records, and support recruiting efforts to grow our team in Providence, RI.

The role requires strong communication, healthcare staffing knowledge, and the ability to handle after-hours calls and weekend coverage. This is a full-time position with room for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in staffing/recruiting.
• Experience in healthcare staffing and customer service.
• Strong multi-tasking and clear communication.
• Ability to schedule, coordinate, and resolve conflicts.
• Must pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Select, schedule, and coordinate caregivers based on care plans.
• Maintain scheduling for the next business day/week.
• Keep caregiver files up to date; track licensing/insurance.
• Audit time cards; ensure hours match schedules.
• Enter applicant/employee data into information system.
• Oversee recruiting, interviewing, testing, selection, orientation of new staff.
• Represent the company at job fairs and events.
• Participate in on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.
