Job summary

Senior Helpers of Westminster seeks an energetic Marketing & Business Development Representative to grow our presence across Carroll, Frederick, and Howard Counties. This role blends healthcare marketing, business development, and client intake, with a focus on turning relationships into referrals.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable with cold outreach, and capable of sustaining 8–10 meaningful referral contacts daily while collaborating with operations to transition clients to

Qualifications

• Associate degree in marketing, business, healthcare, or related field, or ~3 years of related sales/marketing experience.
• Healthcare, home care, senior living, hospice, or medical sales experience preferred.
• Existing healthcare or senior-care referral relationships strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, rehab centers, elder-care organizations.
• Prospect for new business through cold calling, networking, in-person outreach, events, and relationship development.
• Personally visit and walk into new referral sources throughout the territory.
• Maintain 8-10 meaningful referral-source contacts or engagements per day.
• Follow up consistently with referral sources and convert relationships into qualified referrals.
• Generate and follow up on qualified prospective-client leads.
• Gather information about client needs, routines, preferences, mobility, ADLs, safety concerns, schedules, and caregiver requirements.
• Work closely with operations to ensure a smooth transition from consultation to care.
• Assist prospective clients through intake and start-of-care process.
• Develop new lead sources through meetings, networking, presentations, events, and outreach.
• Attend trade shows, networking events, healthcare events, and community programs.
• Conduct presentations and educational meetings regarding Senior Helpers services.
• Maintain CRM and document marketing activity, sources, leads, assessments, and outcomes.
• Maintain a monthly marketing calendar and territory plan.
• Track KPIs including referrals, assessments, new clients, conversion rates, recurring service hours, and business generated.
• Assist with social media, digital marketing, and community campaigns in collaboration with leadership.
• Monitor local competitors, market trends, and new business opportunities.
