Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Maryland is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to support residents in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing settings. You will deliver direct clinical care, follow nursing standards, and collaborate with the care team to promote safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating residents' clinical condition and documenting in EMR.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect changes in resident needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates.
• Administering medications timely and accurately.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Responding to residents, families, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner.
• Participating in review of clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use).
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.
