Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. seeks a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will oversee quality, inventory, safety, and service, ensuring adherence to menus and regulations.

You will guide the food service team, monitor records, and ensure compliant operations while maintaining strong communication with clients and staff. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred (or as required by state/local law).
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the food service program at a single site, ensuring high food quality, inventory management, food safety, and customer service.
• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment; use HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff effectively.
• Adhere to infection control, cleaning procedures, and report equipment needs promptly.
• Represent HCSG positively through interactions with supervisors, client staff, residents, and guests.
