Coral Rehabilitation and Nursing of McGregor in the Waco/McGregor, TX area is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our Skilled Nursing Facility. You will welcome new residents, guide families through the admissions process, and market our services to hospitals and referral sources.

In this administrative, full-time role, you’ll work closely with the Business Office to verify insurance details and maintain accurate admissions records, while building strong relationships with hospitals,

Competenze

• Experience in healthcare admissions or long-term care is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance coverage and authorization for long-term care.
• Strong communication, marketing and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience navigating EMR and referral tracking systems.

• Serve as the first point of contact for families, hospitals, and referral sources.
• Market facility services to drive admissions.
• Manage the admissions process—from inquiry to welcoming new residents.
• Verify insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay details with the Business Office.
• Maintain accurate records for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Coordinate facility tours and provide information to prospective residents and families.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, and community partners.
