Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Sales Executive in the United States to drive new business growth for card issuing and payments solutions with regional and community banks. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract, develop executive-level relationships, and position our issuer processing and card services as strategic growth drivers.

The role emphasizes outbound activity, consultative selling, and delivering compelling business cases to banking leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience selling credit card issuing, debit card issuing, issuer processing, card services, payments, or banking technology solutions into regional and community banks.
• Proven track record of self-sourcing opportunities and building pipeline through proactive prospecting.
• Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition and consultative solution selling.
• Strong understanding of credit and debit card ecosystems, issuer processing, payment networks, card program management, and banking operations.
• Ability to engage executive and line-of-business stakeholders across retail banking, consumer lending, payments, card services, and operations.
• Exceptional communication, discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking.
• Develop a healthy pipeline focusing on regional and community bank clients.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and grow card portfolios.
• Lead discovery conversations on portfolio growth, engagement, and efficiency.
• Position FIS solutions as growth drivers for revenue and differentiation.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.
• Develop executive relationships with banking leaders.
• Collaborate with solution consultants to tailor card strategies.
• Deliver persuasive presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close complex, consultative sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
• Represent FIS at industry events and conferences.
