Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth for debit issuing and processing solutions across regional and community banks. You will build a pipeline from the ground up through proactive prospecting, strategic outreach, and industry networking to modernize debit card programs and grow revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience selling debit issuing, debit processing, card services, or payments solutions into regional and community banks.
• Proven track record of self-sourcing opportunities and building pipeline through proactive prospecting.
• Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition and consultative solution selling.
• Strong understanding of debit card ecosystems, issuer processing, card networks, and banking operations.
• Engage executive and line-of-business stakeholders across retail banking, payments, card services, and operations.
• Exceptional communication, discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling and outbound prospecting.
• Build and replenish a healthy pipeline with regional and community bank clients.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize debit card programs.
• Lead discovery conversations on card portfolio growth and digital transformation.
• Position debit issuing/processing solutions as growth drivers.
• Own full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.

• Collaborate with consultants and product partners on tailored strategies.
• Deliver presentations and business cases to senior banking stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close complex sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
• Represent FIS at industry events and conferences.
