Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth for Card Issuing and Payments Solutions across regional and community banks. You will build a pipeline from the ground up, engage executive stakeholders, and lead the full sales cycle from outreach to close.

The role requires strategic prospecting, industry networking, and the ability to position card solutions as a driver of growth and efficiency. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to regional and community banks.
• Proven self-sourcing and pipeline-building.
• Successful new logo acquisition and consultative selling.
• Strong understanding of card ecosystems, issuer processing and payments.
• Ability to engage executive stakeholders across banking lines.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, referrals, and networking.
• Build and replenish a healthy pipeline focused on regional and community banks.
• Identify opportunities to modernize and grow card portfolios.
• Lead discovery conversations on growth, engagement, efficiency, and payments.
• Position FIS card issuing, issuer processing, and payments solutions as growth enablers.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.
• Develop executive relationships with retail banking and payments leaders.
• Collaborate with solution consultants and product partners on tailored strategies.
• Deliver persuasive presentations and close complex sales.
• Represent FIS at industry events and conferences.
