Job summary

FIS is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new business growth for Card Issuing and Payments Solutions with regional and community banks in the United States. You will build a pipeline from prospecting and industry networking, positioning services as strategic growth drivers.

You will own the full sales cycle, develop executive relationships, and collaborate with solution consultants to tailor credit and debit program strategies, delivering compelling business cases to senior banking

Qualifications

• Experience selling credit card issuing, debit card issuing, issuer processing, card services, payments or banking tech to regional/community banks.
• Proven self-sourcing and pipeline-building through proactive prospecting.
• Track record of new logo acquisition and consultative solution selling.
• Strong understanding of card ecosystems, issuer processing, networks, and card program management.
• Ability to engage executive and line-of-business stakeholders across banking functions.
• Excellent communication, discovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through cold calling, outbound prospecting, referrals, and industry networking.
• Build and replenish a healthy pipeline with regional/community bank clients.
• Identify opportunities to optimize, modernize, and grow card portfolios.
• Lead discovery on growth, engagement, efficiency, fraud mitigation, and payments innovation.
• Position card issuing and payments solutions as growth enablers for revenue and retention.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution.
• Develop executive relationships with retail banking and payments leaders.
• Collaborate with consultants and product partners to design tailored strategies.
• Deliver persuasive presentations and business cases to senior stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close complex, consultative sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
• Represent FIS at industry events and conferences.
