Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Capture Management Specialist to join our team and work remotely. The role supports the Capture team in developing plans and strategies to win work and grow business, requiring strong technical writing and time management to meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate will manage opportunities through the growth process, develop capture plans, and build customer relationships while coordinating with Portfolio Leads, SMEs, and past performance

Qualifications

• Five+ years of federal/defense proposal and capture development experience.
• Expertise in developing capture plans and strategies.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to read and interpret solicitations.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned opportunities through the growth process.
• Gathers and updates competitive positioning intelligence.
• Develops and owns capture plan and strategy; coordinates with Portfolio Leads on solutions and past performance references.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships—Operational/Technical and Customer/Contract.
• Initiates NDAs and Teaming Agreements with proper approvals and portfolio lead coordination.
• Plans and manages targeted customer interfaces and call plans.
• Defines and manages B&P budget and cost targets.
• Leads price-to-win analyses and team cost targets.
• Oversees transition of capture plan to proposal management plan; works with core team on win strategy.
• Initiates and schedules gate reviews and milestone updates.
