Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII), seeks a Capture Manager in Dayton, OH to drive pre-award capture strategies, manage complex bids, and lead cross-functional teams across government customers and partners.

You will coordinate with executives, portfolio leads, program managers, and SMEs to deliver winning proposals, manage plans, and align with customer priorities while maintaining a strong focus on cybersecurity and national security interests.

Qualifications

• 6 years of progressive experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 4 years with a Master's in related field.
• Experience in the entire capture process across multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, cost-plus).
• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with leadership across cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to travel as needed and have TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage opportunities through the capture process from Gate 2 through all capture activities.
• Develop and own the Capture Plan and strategy with stakeholders to generate proposals.
• Develop and manage Customer Call Plans and build relationships with customers.
• Lead gap analyses of capabilities and identify innovative technologies to meet requirements.
• Coordinate bid strategies, win themes, and teaming arrangements to enable winning proposals.
• Ensure bids comply with customer requirements and support color team reviews.
